At this thickness, the adapter provides the mounting depth larger drivers need while eliminating the flex and resonance that thinner adapters introduce at high output levels.

The factory 6x9 front speaker mounting in these trucks is one of the most common upgrade targets in car audio. We designed these adapters to convert that location to accept 6.5-inch, 6x9-inch, or 8-inch aftermarket drivers. Rear door adapters are also available for a full cabin upgrade.
