Flashark
High-Flow Aluminum Cold Air Intake for 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si (EM2)
Flashark Cold Air Intake for 2002–2005 Honda Civic Si EM2 — 76mm Aluminum, Dry Filter, No Tune Required
The K20A2 and K20A3 are the engines that made the Civic Si a real driver's car. 197 hp from a naturally aspirated 2.0L, a 7,400 RPM redline, and one of the best VTEC crossovers in Honda history. The factory airbox was engineered for emissions compliance, not for what the K-Series was built to do.
This Flashark 3.0" cold air intake replaces the restrictive factory plumbing with a mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube and routes the inlet behind the inner fender liner — the coldest available air source in the EM2 engine bay. Intake temps run 15–25°F cooler than stock. The CNC-machined 76mm MAF housing is precision-bored to match factory K20 sensor calibration, so VTEC engagement stays sharp and consistent. No check engine light. No tune.
Installation is 90 minutes with a basic socket set. Every bracket and coupler is spec'd for the EM2 chassis.
Key Features
- 3.0" mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube — smooth interior, no step-downs; matched to K20A2/A3 throttle body diameter
- 4.5" conical dry filter with integrated velocity stack — washable, reusable, no oil required; won't foul the MAF sensor; massive filter area for sustained high-RPM flow
- Inner fender cold air routing — heat shield behind the inner liner pulls ambient air, not engine bay heat; 15–25°F cooler than stock
- CNC-machined 3.0" MAF housing — precision-calibrated for K20A2 (2004–2005) and K20A3 (2002–2003); VTEC crossover clean, no CEL
- No tune required — plug-and-play with factory ECU; fully compatible with Hondata / K-Pro if already tuned
- Bolt-on installation — OEM-spec mounting points; 90 minutes, basic hand tools
