1,700-1,800 rpm stall speed. This torque converter was designed with one purpose in mind, pulling. SunCoast initially developed this converter for the fleet customer who is on the road hot-shot driving, or pulling heavy loads.

This converter has been a workhorse with the Allison platform since its inception. The stall speed is stock and also has a stock stator.

This converter is used for customers who enjoy the driving characteristics of a stock torque converter.

This torque converter is the most popular converter that SunCoast offers. Your end customer will not be able to tell any differences in driving with this converter other than a more precise lock up. However, it does have a 500 horsepower limit due to the cast stator inside the converter.
