EMF Intermediate Shaft Bushings are an incredibly simple way to tighten up the steering and improve steering wheel response on your 2003+ Dodge truck. These simply press into the shaft and significantly reduce the amount of play in the OE bushings.

Notes

• Fifth gen 2019+ Ram trucks have a whining noise in the steering from new and installing these bushings will magnify the noise so only install them if the bushing is worn out!
• Newly discovered info: Some newer Ram's now have a Rag Joint in them instead of the bushing. So we are limiting our years to 2018 to avoid the purchase of them when they won't work. If you have a newer Ram, check and see that the bushing is there before purchasing. 
• Theese bushings should be installed only when the shaft is worn and wander is experienced. New intermediate shafts with no play may experience a resignated tone when collars are installed. Upon installing your new intermediate shaft bushings, some customers have experienced a variable "Tone" of road and/or truck noise. There are many factors that EMF has to take into consideration on each truck to determine where or what you may feel or hear. 
• You are NOT eliminating the rubber bushings that dodge/ram have installed. You are simply controlling their movement for a more responsive feel. 

Installation

• The EMF Spacers are pressed into the shaft on each side to eliminate the wobble caused by a worn-out bushing. Each bushing has a tapered end and a square end, push the tapered end in first (it will be very snug), however, we'd recommend adding some red thread locker to the bushings to ensure they stay in as long as possible.

• Life-Time Warranty against Material and Manufacturers Defects. EMF will replace part of or the entire unit if it is determined to be an issue that falls under this category.  The customer is encouraged to contact EMF directly to determine cause of fault and to receive warrantied products.

• Warranty does not cover breakage due to misuse of the product, improper installation or as a result of another component failure on the vehicle.

• EMF Ball Joints are meant to be rebuilt, which means the internal races and pin will wear over time under normal circumstances. The internal race and pin components are not covered by replacement Warranty, unless it is determined there is a manufacturer defect that caused premature wear.  In order to maximize your product life, regular maintenance which includes greasing at every oil change and tightening of the cap or ring as needed.
