Leveraging the same processing power as NAV-TV's acclaimed ZEN products, the ZEN-AVB delivers an entirely flat audio output—free from factory time delays or equalization—which eliminates the need for summing devices, audio correction DSP, or the removal of factory-installed audio compensation microphones. Backed by years of rigorous R&D, this highly reliable, audiophile-grade interface is engineered to meet the demands of the most discerning listeners.
Designed to deliver exceptional audio quality, the ZEN-AVB supports a frequency response of 18Hz–24kHz, powered by a 192kHz, 32-bit DAC, and a 128-bit per channel floating point DSP. This high-fidelity system provides a six-channel analog output with an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of 112dB, affirming its status as a top-tier pre-amplifier.
In addition, NAV-TV’s AVB-GM processor seamlessly converts GM’s AVB bus to low-level analog RCA or TOSLink outputs. This plug-and-play solution simplifies the integration of an aftermarket amplifier into the OE BOSE system, while also interfacing flawlessly with various OEM data networks. It retains essential functionalities such as OnStar, door chimes, volume control, full fade and balance (analog only), along with treble, mid-range, bass control, and Bluetooth voice calls without requiring an external speaker.
Installation Note:
Due to the potential for poor chassis grounding in many GM vehicles, it is crucial to ensure a reliable ground connection during installation. The manual advises that before connecting this interface, you should verify the ground to the amplifier using a digital multimeter. It is required to run the amplifier ground directly to the battery and use a distribution block to feed power/ground to the ZEN module.
