SPE Motorsport 2020+ GT500 Thermostat
During initial testing with the car everyone has noted that a cooler operating temperature of the primary cooling system would be very beneficial. The GT500 is a very heat soaked platform that needs rid of the factory mandated shortcoming, the higher temperature thermostat (primarily for emissions).
SPE has been working on the Ford dual thermostat style frame for over a year and have been able to engineer an upgrade for 2020+ GT500. This allows the car to drop the coolant temperatures over 25 degrees. While still keeping everything functioning at its peak. It will also allow for even higher flow potential being the SPE thermostat was designed with overall performance in mind. So when it opens it cools quickly.
