We have seen some applications have a need for a 50amp waterproof relay. So to fill the needs of our customers we are offering this conversion kit that will allow you to convert your current wiring harness for your Hess Radiator Relocation kit to a 50 amp relay.
We have seen kits that cycle the fans on and off excessively due to a rear window or something blocking air to the radiator the fans cycle an extreme amount causing heat build up in the relay which leads to relay failure. This kit provides a much stronger relay to handle these situations. We also recommend in this situation to utilize the Fan Override switch that is on every radiator harness. Having the fans on instantly ensures the relay will not fail, but in the event you don't want to use the override the heavy duty relay will handle it.
