Accessories Unlimited 5" Chrome Magnetic Antenna Mount with Coax AUMAG5
If you are looking for a mounting option that is versatile and temporary, this 5 inch magnetic mount will do the trick. The powerful magnet in this mount will hold antennas up to 4 feet in length without tipping over. The chrome finished base is 5 inches in diameter and includes an 18 foot RG58 A/U coax with a PL259 attached on the end. It accepts 3/8" x 24 threaded CB antennas and accessories.
Installation notes:
Installing this mount is as simple as setting it on a metal surface. Ideal placement is in the center of a large metal surface, like the roof of a vehicle. The higher up you can put the mount the better. Be sure both the mount and the mounting surface are clean. Any dirt, metal shavings, or other debris between the magnet and mounting surface can scratch up paint or allow water to collect. Any time you move the mount, you will need to re-tune your CB antenna.
