This Albins Straight Cut Dog Change 1st to 4th Gear Kit with standard synchro 5th is built for the Mazda RX7 FD, delivering fast and reliable shifting on the track or street. Using superior materials and precision manufacturing, it replaces standard OEM components with a gearset that includes 1st (3.00), 2nd (1.86), 3rd (1.29), and 4th (1.00) ratios, plus selector shaft, forks, input shaft, layshaft, and output shaft.
Albins subjects each billet steel gear to heat treatment monitored by CMM, then applies shot-peening for anti-fatigue performance up to eight times that of untreated parts, reducing wear and tear even under extreme use.
