This made in the USA kit contains all the parts you need to convert your ’67-69 Mustang or Cougar with automatic transmission from drum to power disc brakes. Kelsey Hayes style Shelby / GT calipers, brackets, and splash shields are made from the original FORD prints and 100% made in the USA. Manufactured from quality materials, this SSBC kit is designed to ensure high-performance and dependability. The A121-1 Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit by Stainless Steel Brakes includes everything you need to upgrade your drum brakes to the reliability and performance of a modern disc brake system.
This kit will work on Mustang, Cougar, Falcon, Fairlane, or Torino with V8 engine and automatic transmission. It can be used with most 15” wheels as well as with the factory-styled 14” x 7” steel wheels, and will install directly on a V8 spindle with no other modifications needed! Kelsey Hayes style Shelby / GT calipers, brackets, and splash shields are made from the original FORD prints and 100% MADE IN USA.
The kit includes premium-quality E-coat calipers for ultimate corrosion resistance and stainless steel pistons. It includes a dual reservoir master cylinder and a single diaphragm booster. Also included is an adjustable proportioning valve which is the best way to adjust front and rear brake bias for maximum stopping power. You'll get dependable performance with a factory look.
