Barnes 4WD Behind the Axle High Clearance shock mount is one of the strongest and one of the most versatile shock mounts we have to offer. These brackets are laser cut out of 1/4" steel so they are plenty strong and with the higher mounting hole, you can run Air Shocks, Coilovers, or any standard shock absorbers. This bracket allows you to orient the shock bolt perpendicular to the axle tube to help prevent the shock from binding during suspension articulations and it allows you to run longer shocks by not having the shock directly on top of the axle tube. The floating tab allows you to weld it in place to fit any mounting width you need. The bracket is cut for a 3-1/4" axle tube and has a 1/2" bolt hole. The bottom skid will give you the ultimate protection you need and more surface area to weld to the axle tube. These brackets can also be used on the front of the axle. These brackets are sold as a pair.
