Built for consistent daily use, the CBW124D features a UV-coated paper and fiber blend cone. Additionally, it uses a durable foam surround. Together, these materials produce smooth and responsive bass. At the same time, they help resist heat, vibration, and long-term wear.
At its core, the subwoofer utilizes a 2-inch copper-clad aluminum dual voice coil wound on a rugged Kapton former. Therefore, heat dissipation is improved during extended listening sessions. Moreover, the dual 4-ohm configuration provides flexible wiring options. This makes it easier to match amplifier loads and system designs.
A 40 oz ferrite magnet motor structure delivers strong control and efficiency. As a result, bass remains tight and accurate across a wide operating range from 20 Hz to 300 Hz.
