The KC 7.3 Economic Package includes the mandatory and basic upgrades for future modifications down the road that will put your truck over 300HP reliably.
This will be very important for any new first time buyers or 100% stock trucks looking to increase performance and step into the aftermarket modification side of the Powerstroke world.

Transmissions are safe unless previously hurt. Adding more power to a hurt transmission or motor will make it fail prematurely. Increasing the power output on your 7.3 may cause failure of already worn out parts on high mileage trucks. The best practice is to check the health of all systems on your truck prior to installation.
