DJM Complete Lowering Kit F150 (3/5 Drop) (1983-86)
If you try lowering your F150 with springs, you get into trouble. "Lowering" springs can cause alignment issues you just can't correct! That's why we recommend DreamBeams! DJM's exclusive tubular construction is the most accurate lowering beam anywhere. They use thick walled DOM tubing, nested, welded in the fixture, giving you full alignment adjustment. The fabricated "I-beam" variety of parts suffer from "weld creep" as they are welded, which simply means they warp. You only need to remove the factory beams and replace with DreamBeams and you'll have a 3" drop with the factory coils, full suspension travel and all the goodness that comes with that.
Factory coils springs with our lowering I-beams drop the front down 3 inches while allowing for factory alignment and plenty of suspension travel. A simple leaf spring flip kit in rear is used for 5 inch drop in the rear.
This kit will work on your 1983-86 F150 2WD. No need for special alignment bushings etc. You can also purchase this kit with the bundle of your choice of front, rear, or both front and rear shocks.
