The Fleece Performance FPE-CUMM-IP-0724 replaces the factory grid heater plate with a cast aluminum high-flow intake plenum engineered to eliminate that failure point while simultaneously improving airflow and throttle response.
Why Upgrade?
The OEM grid heater plate is a known weak point on 6.7L Cummins engines. Over time, the retaining nut can loosen and fall into the intake — causing catastrophic engine damage. This kit removes that risk entirely and gives your engine a cleaner, unrestricted path for charge air.
