The Orion HCCA151SPLX sits at the absolute peak of Orion’s bass lineup. Specifically, this 15 inch dual 1 ohm SPLX competition subwoofer is engineered for extreme sound pressure levels. As a result, it delivers crushing low-frequency output for the most demanding SPL builds. With 7500W RMS and 30000W peak power, it is built for competitors who operate far beyond standard limits.
Additionally, the dual 1-ohm voice coil configuration allows ultra-low impedance wiring. Because of this, the subwoofer pairs perfectly with high-voltage, competition-grade amplifiers. Therefore, the HCCA151SPLX is ideal for extreme SPL competition vehicles, demo monsters, and record-chasing bass walls.
Built for Extreme SPLX Abuse
To survive brutal power levels, the HCCA151SPLX uses a moisture- and UV-resistant glass fiber paper cone. Moreover, it features a reinforced NBR foam surround designed to handle violent cone movement. Together, these components maintain stability during massive excursion.
At its core, the subwoofer uses a huge 4-inch high-temperature voice coil. As a result, it manages intense heat during long competition runs. In addition, a 690 oz triple-stack ceramic magnet motor structure delivers enormous motor force. This design maximizes output while maintaining control at extreme power levels.
