BD's heavy duty turbo is a very affordable alternative to the OE replacement unit with a 360-degree thrust bearing and grooved radial bearings for added durability, and, incorporates a 78mm billet compressor wheel to meet the air demands of the Cat 3406E, C15 (non-Acert) and C16 engines. With a 96mm turbine wheel and 1.32 AR non-wastegated T6 turbine housing, this turbo offers quicker spooling that will get you into the power band sooner, reducing wasted unburnt fuel that is coming out of your pipes as black smoke and fewer moving parts to stick and wear out. When it comes time to replace your turbo, use the more reliable, more affordable BD heavy duty turbo that will help reduce future repair costs and down time.
