TBN Booster additive is a concentrated formula that contains 100% active ingredients of a CK-4 Additive Package, a TBN Booster and the infusion of Hot Shot’s Secret FR3 FRICTION REDUCER.

Engine oil serves two purposes: To lubricate moving parts and to clean the engine. In order to clean, engine oil contains detergents and dispersants. An engine oil’s Total Base number (TBN) is the measure of active detergents and dispersants that are still present in the oil. These detergents and dispersants naturally deplete over time, which allows acid to form inside the engine. These acids are corrosive to your engine.
