If you’re pushing your 7.3 Powerstroke harder than stock, the Irate Diesel Boost Fooler is a must-have upgrade to keep your truck running strong under higher boost levels.
Why You Need It
1994–1997 (OBS 7.3): Once you climb past 35 PSI, the factory MAP sensor begins cutting in and out. This causes power loss, inconsistent boost readings, and overall poor performance. The Boost Fooler corrects this issue by keeping the MAP sensor stable—even when you lean on the turbo.
1999–2003 (Super Duty 7.3): Many tuning options (especially anything other than Gearhead) can trigger overboost codes when the truck starts building serious boost. The Boost Fooler prevents the PCM from throwing codes, keeping your engine pulling hard and clean.
