Jeep JK Rear Upper Shock Mount Extension Brackets

Barnes 4WD is proud to introduce our brand new Jeep JK Rear Upper Shock Mount Extensions. These brackets will lift the upper mount of your rear shock up 2 inches and back about 2.50 inches. This allows you to run a longer traveling shock with your factory bottom mount or use our JK Heavy Duty Rear Lower Control Arm and Rear Shock Relocation Bracket and run your factory shocks and have better ground clearance with your factory suspension. These brackets have a cutout in the middle to allow for the shock to travel the full range of articulation without damaging the shock body. This kit includes flag nuts to relocate your factory sway bar further back away from the shocks. These brackets will come bare and will need to be powder coated or painted before installing. Some modifications to your exhaust and heat shield maybe necessary to clear the relocated sway bar and shocks. The change of shock angle could affect the ride quality of your vehicle. These brackets have been tested with factory shocks, test your setup before making any modifications to your vehicle.
