Description
We designed our Jeep TJ or LJ Wagoneer Dana 44 swap kit to make it easy for you to put a Dana 44 in the rear of your Jeep TJ, or LJ. This kit is designed to work with a Dana 44 rear axle out of a 1980-1991 Jeep Wagoneer narrow track (~60" WMS-WMS) or a factory Dana 44 from a Jeep Cherokee XJ. All parts of this kit are keyed to the truss, making installation a breeze. Simply set your pinion angle, center and level the truss, and almost all other components will locate off from the truss. The shock brackets will need to be located using the measurements from your existing axle. This kit includes all of the needed suspension brackets to install a Dana 44 under your Jeep, welding is required.
- This truss system may work on other Dana 44s, however we have only tested it on the Wagoneer narrow track (~60" WMS-WMS) and a Jeep XJ Dana 44
- Brake lines, driveshaft modifications, and matching lug patterns are the responsibility of the end user.
- Vent tube will need to be relocated
- This kit can be used with a TJ Dana 44 rear axle with some slight trimming. The factory brackets on the TJ axle will need to be removed, to facilitate installation.
