Looking to replace your old factory battery tray in your Jeep Cherokee or Comanche? Barnes 4WD has you covered with our Jeep XJ/MJ Battery Box. This battery box is laser cut out of 11GA steel, bent and welded right here in-house. This box is made to fit Optima 34/78, Odyssey PC1500, and Group 34/78 Batteries, just select the correct battery type for your application. This box will bolt directly in to the factory location with no modifications necessary. There is a hole in the bottom of the battery box to accommodate for the factory battery temperature sensor. This new heavy duty battery box will keep your battery in place when you're tackling the toughest trails out there. This battery box will ship bare and will need to be painted or powder coated before installation. Hardware is included to mount the top to the battery box, you will need to reuse the factory hardware to mount the new battery box.
