This system is going to save hours and hours of pain and suffering by not needing to remove the OEM exhaust manifolds and down pipe. No more wrestling the multi piece, double wall down pipe out from it's hellish cave. No more sweating bullets trying to free up the rusted/seized manifold bolts.
*All that needs to be done is to yank that junk OE turbo out and replace it with this system and the 17-19 VGT of your choice!
THIS KIT INCLUDES:
- Billet turbo pedestal
- Billet downpipe adapter
- coolant line adapter
- baseplate gasket(OEM)
- .120 Wall 304SS up pipes(with gaskets)
- Upper intake port plug(oval intake plug)
- O-ring sealed clip on billet turbo outlet adapter
- Hot side IC pipe
- Boots and clamps
- All needed hardware
IF YOU CHOOSE TO SOURCE A MODIFIED TURBO FROM ANOTHER VENDOR AND NOT FROM US, MAKE SURE TO MENTION YOU NEED IT BUILT FROM A 17-19 GT37 OR WITH A 2 PIECE EXHAUST HOUSING.
IN ORDER TO INSTALL, YOU MUST REMOVE THE EXHAUST HOUSING AND INDEX IT ABOUT 180 DEGREES BEFORE INSTALLING IN TRUCK. TO SPIN THE HOUSING YOU WILL WANT TO PUNCH DOWN THE ALIGNMENT PIN OR GRIND IT DOWN MAKING IT SO THE HOUSING WILL SPIN AND THE CAGE IS STILL LOCKED IN. LEAVE CLAMP LOOSE AND DO FINAL INDEXING WHILE FITTING UP PIPES TO ENSURE PERFECT FITMENT.
