Ghost Subwoofers for: E60 M5, E70/E71 X5M/X6M, E90/E92/E93 M3s with the S752A Individual Audio system

We no longer offer the subwoofer upgrades for vehicles with the S752A individual audio systems. We started to notice regular subwoofer failures with some S752A individual audio systems in the M5s, X5s and M3s and removed them from our offerings in early 2021. The s752a individual amps had a largely disproportionate amount of blown subs compared the other systems. Even after matching the impedances, we could not resolve the issue and therefore had to remove that option from our catalog. Basically, they physically fit and the impedances match but for some reason they tend to blow more easily due to distortion caused by those amps. So we can get you amazingly clear audio from the other speakers but cannot upgrade the bass from your subs.

Ghost Subwoofers for F01/F02 7 series with Premium audio systems:

We found that the 7 series vehicles from 2009-2015 with the Premium amplifiers had a largely disproportionate amount of failures compared the other systems. Even after matching the impedances, we could not resolve the issue and therefore had to remove that option from our catalog. Basically, they physically fit and the impedances match but for some reason they tend to blow more easily due to distortion caused by those amps. So we can get you amazingly clear audio from the other speakers but cannot just upgrade the bass from your subs.

One solution we know of to get you a working under seat subs is to purchase our Revenant PRO amp upgrade which will then allow you to purchase the Bavsound Ghost subwoofers to work with the new amp.

Otherwise, you will need to purchase OEM factory replacements

Subwoofers for Bang & Olufsen or Bowers & Wilkins audio systems:

Unfortunately we do not have any upgrades compatible with the B&O or B&W audio systems.

The B&O/B&W system is suppose to be top of the line and there aren't many of them made, so we will not be investing time into developing upgrades for them.

For the Bang and Olufsen system, our Ghost subs do fit in the under seat compartment however, the B&O amp signal will cause our subwoofers to blow after mild use. For this reason we cannot offer them as compatible to your B&O audio system.

Our kits are designed and tuned specifically for the vehicle intended. We only recommend using the kit for your exact vehicle through our website's vehicle selection options. So, if it is not listed we highly discourage trying to make another kit work.

Older E Chassis Trunk or Ski Pass subwoofer box setups:

The trunk sub box was a great product however, upgrades such as that required significant technical support time that it wasn't profitable enough to continue. Our business model has since shifted to being a plug and play solution only company.

We don't have a recommendation for trunk subs as that isn't something we have focused on for quite some time. Your best resource for preferred speakers would be the Bimmer forums.
