The Orion HCCA300DR 3” Compression Driver is engineered for extreme high-output car audio systems where power, clarity, and reliability are critical. As part of Orion’s legendary HCCA (High Current Competition Audio) lineup, this compression driver is built to deliver powerful high-frequency output for competition-level SPL systems and professional pro audio installations.
Rated at 400 watts RMS and 1600 watts maximum power, the HCCA300DR provides strong and controlled high-frequency projection capable of cutting through even the loudest audio systems. Its high-efficiency design ensures maximum output while maintaining clarity and precision across demanding high-output environments.
The driver features a polyimide diaphragm and a 2.94-inch high-temperature CCAR voice coil, designed to provide exceptional thermal stability, durability, and consistent performance during extended high-power operation. These premium materials allow the driver to withstand the extreme conditions commonly found in competition and demo vehicle audio systems.
Powered by a high-strength neodymium magnet motor structure, the HCCA300DR delivers excellent motor force while keeping overall weight lower than traditional ferrite designs. This advanced motor structure improves efficiency, transient response, and overall sound projection.
Designed for horn-loaded systems, the HCCA300DR pairs perfectly with compatible Orion HCCA horn lenses such as the HA300 or HA3.2R, making it ideal for SPL systems, demo vehicles, and professional high-output car audio builds.
