The Orion HCCA400DR 4” Compression Driver is engineered for extreme high-output car audio systems where maximum power, durability, and clarity are essential. As part of Orion’s legendary HCCA (High Current Competition Audio) lineup, this driver is built to deliver powerful high-frequency output for competition SPL systems, demo vehicles, and professional horn-loaded audio installations.
Rated at 500 watts RMS and 2000 watts maximum power, the HCCA400DR produces intense and controlled high-frequency projection capable of cutting through the loudest audio systems. Its high-efficiency design ensures maximum acoustic output while maintaining clarity and precision even in demanding high-power environments.
At the core of the driver is a massive 3.93-inch aluminum ribbon voice coil (ALR) combined with a titanium diaphragm, delivering exceptional thermal stability, durability, and accuracy at extreme output levels. These premium materials allow the driver to withstand extended high-power operation without compromising sound quality.
The driver is powered by a high-strength neodymium magnet motor structure, providing powerful magnetic force while maintaining a lighter overall weight compared to traditional ferrite designs.
