The Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Pirelli offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire offers excellent all season traction by using the durable compound and asymmetric tread design. These work together, in order to enhance the tire's grip in versatile weather conditions. Durable compound elements enable the tire to upgrade its rubber flexibility in summer and winter traction. Additionally, the full-depth sipes generate additional biting edges, optimizing the tire's surface traction. Four circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning, as they channel water and slush from the footprint.
Great controllability is offered with this model. The asymmetric tread design with the ribbed pattern maintains a consistent surface contact. This enhances the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability, enabling the driver's better control over the vehicle at all times.
