Description
Description
Our Coolant Split Tank design eliminates potential overheating issues and prevents the systems from mixing by separating them into their own reservoirs. Therefore the coolant is forced to travel through the radiator & heat exchanger. The direct circulation alleviates stress on the intercooler, making both systems much more reliable and efficient.
As the engine operates at a higher pressure and temperature, the plastic will break and the intercooler becomes strained - resulting in overheating. This failure commonly occurs in XPT RZRs when the charge air cooling system (Turbo Intercooler) is shared with the engine cooling system.
Example: Many XPT Intercoolers fail by cracking and breaking. Therefore losing all the coolant in the intake. This results in no engine cooling because they're connected. If the tanks are separated, you would only lose the intercooler cooling system, allowing you to limp home, instead of being unable to drive your machine at all.
The stock (OEM) Intercooler is the most efficient intercooler we have tested, and the best one we recommend using versus all the aftermarket intercoolers on the market.
