This kit provides you with the 3 bearings in the OD section of the 47/48RE transmission. The kit includes an updated heavy duty bearing plate as well as the bearings. The plate it notorious for wearing on one side and this wear can lead to bearing failure. This kit is recommended for all high mileage rebuilds.
