The Ford 10R80 transmission is known to have many complaints regarding harsh shifts. These shifts can come from worn-out converter clutch material, burnt clutches and steels in the transmission, a leaking CDF drum due to a misplaced sleeve, or a leaking valve body. Our 10R80 roadmaster transmission addresses all of these issues and more!

TRANSMISSION:

• Brand new modified valve body to increase line pressure by ~30% for improved clutch holding
• New Deep Sump Transmission Oil Pan. Extra 2 quarts of fluid capacity.
• Revised CDF drum with retaining feature to prevent sleeve failure common on OEM units
• New OEM clutches and steels
• Smooth and quick shifts
• Increased fluid capacity helps regulate temperature and extend fluid life
• Will not have to worry about long shift delays or flares due to the leaking CDF drum
• Easy to flush transmission fluid with drain plug, and can attach a temperature sensor if desired
