The RRP2EX intercom is a compact, budget-friendly solution for clear in-flight communication between pilots, co-pilots, or passengers. Designed for versatility, it connects to 2-way radios or aircraft panels, supports music input, and offers multiple power options — making it ideal for general aviation, flight training, and recreational flying.
With the ability to listen to music, adjust volume, and squelch, you can dial in your audio experience for the most enjoyable flight ever.
Operates on (2) 9V Batteries (not included). Should you ever be lacking a battery, the RRP2EX also operates off the included 12V cigarette power adapter, so you'll never be without power for transmission.
The record in/out port allows you to connect a digital recorder so you can record your audio — a great tool for instructors and students.
The 'Pilot Isolate' feature allows the pilot to isolate all conversation to just the pilot and ATC for clear and uninterrupted conversation.
The design of the RRP2EX offers Pilot-Only 'Transmission Protection', meaning if there's ever an in-flight power-loss, the RRP2EX will still transmit - even without power.

- Detachable General Aviation cable reveals a 5-pin connector for use with a radio jumper or direct aircraft panel connection
- Pilot isolate function allows the pilot to focus only on ATC transmissions without cabin chatter
- Transmission protection ensures the pilot can still transmit to ATC even during in-flight power loss
- Record in/out port for connecting a digital recorder—ideal for flight training and review
- Music input jack with included 3.5mm stereo cord for iPods, smartphones, or MP3 players
- Volume and squelch controls for a fully adjustable audio experience
- Push-to-talk (PTT) compatible for seamless communication control. Opens only the Pilot's microphone. Add PTT-VM2-AV for additional Push-to-talk options.
- Optional expansion cable allows connectivity for up to four users
