SPE 2015-2023 S550 Mustang Coolant Degas Bottle
SPE is happy to introduce our new 2015+ Mustang Degas Bottle. The factory piece leaves much to be desired in the aesthetics department. SPE has developed our solution around a large billet chunk of aluminum. If you track the car, weekend cruise, or daily drive it this can be a beneficial upgrade to your engine bay.
The SPE billet coolant degas bottle includes the fittings and hose ends needed to install it. The billet 2 piece design uses the factory mounting positions. The halves are sealed by an o-ring not a gasket or sealant. SPE also changed to a standard vent cap for ease of replacement and also safety. The lever cap we use allows the customer to vent the system even when hot if needed. It also vents safely out of the side of the bottle under head gasket failure or other over pressurizing situations instead of all over the engine bay. Glycol/coolant is flammable so safely controlling the venting of it is key in high performance applications.
